Position Title: Senior Broadcom GEN Developer / Enterprise Data Modeler Location: Columbus Ohio Clearance Requirements: None Position Status: Contract W2 Pay Rate: $55/hr on w2 Position Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Broadcom GEN Developer and Enterprise Data Modeler to join a high-impact Rates & Payments Applications team supporting mission-critical systems.

This role requires deep expertise in Broadcom GEN (CA GEN), enterprise data modeling, and legacy system modernization within complex enterprise environments.

The selected professional will work closely with GEN developers, business analysts, DBAs, and modernization teams to support and enhance actuarial, rating, and payment-related components of a large-scale enterprise platform.

This role is ideal for a senior-level GEN specialist who thrives in collaborative environments, can work independently on complex systems, and has a passion for modernizing legacy applications while maintaining operational stability.

Key Responsibilities * Perform business process analysis to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

* Design and develop Broadcom GEN (CA GEN) models, action diagrams, and enterprise data models.

* Build and maintain GEN-based batch and online applications supporting actuarial, rating, and payment systems.

* Develop and test server procedures and application logic within the GEN framework.

* Support and enhance enterprise reporting solutions, including: * Reports Composer * SOA Composer * Crystal Reports * Collaborate with DBAs, developers, and business analysts to ensure data integrity and system performance.

* Diagnose and resolve complex production issues in a mission-critical environment.

* Contribute to legacy modernization initiatives involving: * Windows platforms * Oracle databases * Distributed batch processing * Support production operations, system enhancements, and ongoing maintenance activities.

* Participate in testing, deployment, and system documentation to ensure long-term platform stability.

Required Skills / Education * Extensive hands-on experience with Broadcom GEN (CA GEN) development and enterprise data modeling.

* Proven experience developing GEN action diagrams and enterprise models.

* Strong experience supporting both batch and online GEN applications.

* Experience developing server procedures and GEN-based application logic.

* Solid knowledge of Oracle databases and SQL.

* Experience with enterprise reporting tools such as: * Reports Composer * SOA Composer * Crystal Reports * Experience supporting mission-critical enterprise systems.

* Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into technical solutions.

* Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex application and data issues.

* Experience working in cross-functional teams including developers, DBAs, and business analysts.

* Experience supporting legacy modernization or migration initiatives is highly preferred.

* Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications * Experience with distributed batch processing environments.

* Experience modernizing legacy mainframe or GEN-based applications.

* Background supporting financial systems, actuarial platforms, or payment systems.
