About Voice Up

Voice Up Publishing, Inc. is a purpose-driven public health startup and grassroots movement founded in November 2024.

Our mission is simple:

To connect people to purpose — one conversation at a time.

Voice Up operates as a first-of-a-kind action think tank grounded in IRB-approved doctoral research. Our work specializes in reaching traditionally underserved communities through a light-touch, human-centered 8-week methodology.

In just 16 months of operation, our impact has been significant:

We have convened a global ecosystem of universities, nonprofits, and public health leaders.

Our work has generated real-world artifacts and initiatives that are already being adopted by external organizations.

The Voice Up network now includes students, professionals, and purpose-driven leaders across multiple disciplines.

Our work focuses on helping individuals discover purpose, strengthen mental well-being, and create tangible pathways for leadership and service.

How to Apply

Contact

Students interested in becoming a Community Outreach Intern with Voice Up are encouraged to apply for the upcoming Spring or Summer 2026 terms.

This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience while contributing to a mission-driven initiative focused on helping people discover their pathway to purpose.

These outcomes did not emerge from a single centralized strategy. Instead, they reflected the organic nature of the ecosystem itself.

Voice Up did not dictate what projects should exist.

It created the conditions in which participants could build them.

Over time, observers began to notice that something deeper might be happening within the network. The program was not only helping individuals discover their purpose; it was also quietly cultivating a new kind of leadership model.

Traditional leadership development often focuses on individuals climbing established hierarchies. Voice Up, by contrast, seemed to operate horizontally—through relationships, mentorship, and shared purpose.
