Overview:

The partner experience at Otterbein SeniorLife is critical in our strategy to make our organization THE place to work. The Regional Human Resource Generalist is a key member of the HR team responsible for supporting the Partner Relations & Experience team and local leaders in key areas of the partner and candidate experience, including but not limited to investigations and partner relations, recognition, internal communication, events/activities, and partner surveys.

Recognition

Assist with the administration and implementation of current and future programs, including proactive reporting, ordering of awards, and relevant communications

Continually enhance, encourage, and suggest new ideas for recognition opportunities that align with the Otterbein Experience Behaviors

Internal Communication

Support with administration of the company's internal communication application, including new user troubleshooting, user/group maintenance, file and resource management, and ad hoc reporting

Create calendars and schedules of meaningful content and messages that are communicated to employees for significant events and holidays

Act as the key point of contact for questions and escalate to appropriate parties when necessary

Respond to any messages or requests timely

Employee Surveys

Administer partner surveys, including new hire surveys, annual surveys, pulse surveys, and exit surveys

Edit current surveys and create new surveys to capture necessary data and feedback

Run regular reports of completed surveys and collaborate with P&C leadership to create insightful and actionable dashboards and reports for leadership

Employee Events

Assist and/or lead Home Office partner engagement events, including but not limited to the Annual Christmas Party

Propose new engagement initiatives based on feedback or trends to support the culture of the organization in alignment with the Otterbein Experience Behaviors

Onboarding

Lead the onboarding experience for new hires at the Home Office, including administration and coordination of pre-hire drug tests, background checks, orientation and other requirements.

Act as primary contact for questions regarding pre-employment and onboarding for new hires across the organization

Continuously improve the onboarding experience based on feedback from new hires, hiring managers, and P&C representatives

Research and implement, if justified, the automating and/or outsourcing of the pre-hire experience

Facilitate and coordinate orientation for assigned locations as needed

Training & Development

Assist with the coordination, scheduling, and facilitation of P&C training programs

Partner with P&C Leadership to develop and implement new training programs in order to meet the needs of their roles and accomplish organizational goals and objectives

Partner Relations

Regularly visit locations within assigned region to develop and foster a people-centered culture

Partner with managers to ensure disciplinary actions are accurate and compliant

Assist with facilitation of partner round tables

Act as point of contact for P&C related questions

Safety

Partner with on-site leaders to ensure regular safety committees are occurring and collaborating on appropriate action plans

Support on-site partners with appropriate documentation of injuries and OSHA logs as required

Collaborate with Partner Services team on proper administration of Worker's Compensation documentation

Compliance

Ensure adherence to applicable labor laws, regulations, and company policies

Support on-site partners as needed for accurate and compliant documentation and processes to prepare for state surveys

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree, OR

4+ years of relevant experience, OR

Combination of relevant education, certification, and experience

Prior experience desired with;

UKG or similar HRIS

Greenhouse or similar ATS

Red e App or similar internal communications app

Proficient with Microsoft Office products

The position requires day travel and occasional overnight travel to the sites that its supports throughout Ohio and Indiana.
