Position Overview
We are seeking a VDC-focused Project Engineer to lead digital coordination efforts across active construction projects. This role drives BIM execution, clash detection, and model-based constructability from preconstruction through closeout, serving as the primary liaison between design teams, subcontractors, and field operations.
The position leads coordination meetings, creates clear action items, and is directly responsible for tracking, following up, and driving issues to resolution across all trades. Success in this role requires strong technical expertise in Revit and Navisworks, a solid understanding of construction means and methods, and the ability to proactively manage coordination to keep projects aligned and buildable.

Key Responsibilities
BIM / VDC Responsibilities
Develop, manage, and maintain BIM models using Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
Perform clash detection and coordination reviews; track and resolve conflicts with project teams
Support constructability reviews and sequencing through model-based analysis
Coordinate BIM efforts between design teams, subcontractors, and field operations
Maintain model version control and ensure alignment with current drawings and specifications
Assist with creation of 2D drawings, details, and exhibits derived from BIM models
Support field teams with model-based visuals and coordination support
Project Management Support
Assist the Project Manager with day-to-day project execution, scheduling, and coordination
Support RFIs, submittals, change orders, and document control
Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to maintain project momentum
Track procurement, long-lead items, and scope responsibilities
Attend project meetings and manage follow-up action items
Assist with project closeout documentation (as-builts, O&Ms, warranties)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
2–5 years of experience in construction project management, BIM/VDC, or related roles
Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
Working knowledge of construction means and methods
Experience with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bluebeam)
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environmentCompany Description
