School-Based Physical Therapist - Tavares, FL

Job Description Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required.

This opportunity is for a Physical Therapist to provide on-site support within multiple schools located in Tavares, FL.

This is a full-time contract position running from ASAP to May 29, 2026, with an 8-hour day plus a 30-minute unpaid break, totaling 37.5 hours per week.

The role involves servicing a selection of schools throughout the district, contributing to a combined caseload of approximately 100 students across various elementary institutions.

Key Responsibilities:Deliver physical therapy services to students across multiple school locations, assisting with individual needs.Collaborate with school staff and support personnel to develop and implement effective therapy plans.Manage caseload efficiently, ensuring timely documentation and progress tracking.Participate in required district onboarding and credentialing processes.Maintain professional licensure and comply with all school district guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience:Valid professional license as a Physical Therapist.Previous school-based physical therapy experience is preferred but not mandatory.Ability to work across multiple school sites with flexibility as schedules may change.Strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate with educational staff and meet administrative requirements.
