Responsibilities
MUST OWN YOUR TRUCK AND TRAILER.
Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling of all materials.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage driven.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays during transport.
Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations governing commercial driving.
Experience
Proven experience as an Owner Operator Driver or in a similar role within the transportation industry.
Familiarity with various types of freight transport including refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tankers.
Strong knowledge of route planning and navigation systems.
Excellent understanding of safety protocols related to commercial driving.
Ability to work independently while managing time effectively to meet delivery schedules.
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record is required.
