Medical Assistant Compensation

The pay for this position is $17.45 per hour

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Medical Assistant Highlights

This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

The required availability for this position is Mon-Fri 7am-3pm

No weekends or Holidays

Medical Assistant Responsibilities

Perform selected patient care tasks to assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the supervision of a physician or nurse.

Prepare patients, equipment, and supplies for specific procedures as directed.

Obtain vital signs, lab tests, and record patient data accurately.

Maintain cleanliness of examination rooms and ensure they are properly stocked.

Support patients and their families, notifying the charge nurse of any changes in patient status.

Follow all policies and procedures related to patient care and facility guidelines.

Medical Assistant Requirements

Minimum of six months of supervised clinical experience within the last two years.

Current BCLS or appropriate Cardiac Life Support certification.

High School Diploma or GED

Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
