The Law Offices of Susan Kohn, LLC, is looking for an experienced Closing Assistant to help manage the many moving parts involved in real estate closings. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating between multiple parties, staying on top of deadlines, and ensuring that every transaction progresses from contract to closing with accuracy and professionalism.

Compensation & Schedule
$25–$30 per hour (based on experience)

Assist with managing real estate transactions from contract to closing
Coordinate communication between buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, and title companies
Prepare and review documents related to real estate closings
Track key deadlines and ensure all requirements are completed on time
Order necessary documents such as title work, payoffs, surveys, and HOA information
Schedule closings and coordinate with all parties involved
Maintain accurate transaction files and ensure all documents are properly organized
Provide excellent client service and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
Assist the attorney and team with administrative and closing preparation tasks as neededQualifications:
Prior experience as a Closing Assistant, Transaction Coordinator, or similar role required
Experience working in a real estate law office, title company, or real estate brokerage
Familiarity with real estate contracts, title work, and closing documentation
Comfortable working with transaction management systems and document platforms
Strong organizational and time management skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
Professional communication skills with clients and industry partners
Proactive problem solver who can anticipate needs and keep transactions moving
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
