Clinical Shift Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts (7a 5p) or 5 x 8-hour shifts (7a 3p)
On-Call Shift Schedule: Weekday home call 3p 7a; 24-hour weekend call
Call Type: Home Call
Call Ratio: Approximately once every 12 weeks
Call Response Time: 3045 minutes COVERAGE DATES
Ongoing coverage beginning June 1, 2026
PATIENT INFORMATION
Patient Demographics: Adolescents and Adults (approximately ages 15100)
Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 200 cases
Case Mix: General Surgery, OB/GYN, ENT, Orthopedics and other routine anesthesia cases

EMR System: Epic
Office Equipment Available: Standard anesthesia equipment
Specialty Backup Available: Surgical and hospital specialty support teams
Support Staff Available: One Anesthesia Technician
Reason for Coverage: Supplemental coverage to maintain anesthesia staffing schedule

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
Temporary Privileges Available: No
Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 4 months with active SC license; 56 months if license required

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses: Active South Carolina CRNA License
Board: NBCRNA Certification Required
DEA: Active DEA Certification
Certifications: BLS and ACLS
Experience: Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience required
Other Qualifications: CSR registration required, Epic EMR experience preferred, clean malpractice history, mandatory vaccines per facility policy
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures
Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia administration
Provide perioperative patient care and pain management
Participate in rotating clinical and call schedules with anesthesia team
Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
