Job Description

Big South Fork Medical Center located in Oneida, TN is seeking full time and part- time (LPN) for the ER and Medsurg Unit

12 Hour Shifts, Every Other Weekend Off

FT/PT Night Shift Differential: Base + 15%

Day Shift: 6:00 am - 6:00 pm

Mid Shift: 10:00 am - 10:00 pm

Night Shift: 6:30 pm - 6:30 am

Summary: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides patient-centered care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role collaborates with RN, physicians and multidisciplinary team members to achieve the highest standards of care specific to the age and needs of the patient while maintaining a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program

One (1) year in a hospital setting preferred but not required

Newly licensed LPNs welcome to apply

LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse -TN State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required

BCLS - Basic Life Support required

ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred

PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred
