Entry Level Data Center Installer

Job Description

Data Center Entry Level Installer - $22-$25/hr- DOE

We are currently hiring entry level installers who are interested in performing low voltage installation inside a data center environment. Candidates are encouraged to apply ASAP as we have an immediate need in the Columbus and New Albany Area. Labor/construction experience is required for the entry level installer position.

Entry Level Installer Qualifications:

Previous experience in a construction/labor setting

Willingness to learn

Energetic, eager, and motivated

High level of professionalism

Reliable Transportation

Ability to lift 50 pounds

Ability to work on a ladder

Data Center Technician Duties:

Pulling and routing CAT 5 or CAT 6 or Fiber cable in new construction and existing data center environment

Dressing, labeling, and terminating low voltage wires

Installing support structures (ladder racks, racks, switches, servers, j-hooks, cable trays, basket trays, etc.)

Terminating voice and data jacks and dressing and terminating distribution frames (66 or 110 blocks, patch panels)

Rack and stack work, closet work, putting together server racks, patch panels

Compensation:

Competitive starting pay $22/hr to $25/hr – DOE.
