Social Work Supervisor III

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Supervises a team of social workers

Screening reports of child abuse, neglect, and dependency according to policy & law

Ensures staff adequately assess safety and risk to vulnerable adults and make appropriate case decisions

Coordinates workflow, provides technical directions, staff training, & resolving problems

Initiates court proceedings

Requires after-hours and weekend on-call duty on a rotating basis

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and 5 years directly related experience OR

Bachelor's degree in human services field and 4 years directly related experience OR

Master's degree in human services & 3 years directly related experience

Master's degree in social work & 2 years directly related experience
