Job Summary:
The Engineering Manager is responsible for ensuring that key projects and engineering duties are fulfilled by the engineering team. Assist with solving engineering issues that arise through the normal course of project activities.
Essential Functions:
Collaborate with other department managers and leadership to set and assess priorities for the engineering team
Assign tasks to engineers and gauge progress of various projects
Communicate effectively with both internal and external customers
Collaborate with the sales team to create new products
Manage department budget for projects
Train and mentor current and future staff in product development and engineering
Design and engineer products for our standard product lines
Design and engineer custom products to meet specific customer requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Project Management, or similar disciplines.
3 years of experience in management or supervisory experience.
