Sr. Software Engineer

Job Description

The Sr. Software Engineer will participate and be responsible for translating business requirements and functional specifications into the design, development and implementation of front-end and web-based business application systems. They will be responsible for the maintenance, enhancements, configuration, and customization of the application including any third-party system integration. They will participate in all the software development lifecycle phases including technical specifications, testing, code deployment and application support. They will mentor other engineers.

10+ years of experience in Java development with expertise in Object-Oriented Programming and cloud-native design principles. Proven experience optimizing and scaling enterprise Java applications. Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Quarkus, or similar Java frameworks.

Strong understanding of application performance, fault tolerance, and high availability in production environments. Strong knowledge of software security and resolving detected vulnerabilities.

Experience with JavaScript frameworks (ReactJS or jQuery), CSS3, HTML5, scripting languages like Python and/or Node.js.

Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.

Solid experience with SQL databases and query optimization

Hiring salary range: $95,362 - $140,000. The actual rate will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
