Duration: 12 month contract, with possible extension

W-2 or 1099

The DNA Group is seeking a Senior Program Manager to support the implementation of Title 5, Subtitle A, Section 1700 of the District of Columbia Municipal Regulations for the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE). In this role, you will work with the Division of Teaching and Learning to ensure Educator Preparation Providers (EPPs) comply with state approval processes and regulatory requirements. You will help develop resources and guidance, coordinate technical assistance efforts, and support review and reporting activities related to educator preparation programs. The ideal candidate has strong experience in educator preparation program accreditation, teacher preparation initiatives, and higher education leadership.

Overview Requirements:

• Support implementation of Title 5, Subtitle A, Section 1700 of the District of Columbia Municipal Regulations (DCMR).

• Ensure Educator Preparation Providers (EPPs) comply with state approval processes and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with the Division of Teaching and Learning to monitor program compliance and performance.

• Develop resources and guidance documents to support EPP understanding of regulatory requirements.

• Coordinate and provide technical assistance to programs that do not fully meet OSSE standards.

• Review and contribute to reports generated from state review visits and compliance assessments.

• Support initiatives related to the science of reading implementation in teacher preparation programs.

• Assist in the development and support of teacher apprenticeship programs and educator pipelines.

• Analyze program performance data and provide recommendations for program improvement.

• Communicate complex regulatory and programmatic information clearly to diverse stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Public Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Extensive experience working in educator preparation programs, accreditation, or higher education administration.

• Experience supporting compliance with regulatory or accreditation standards in education programs.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex information for diverse audiences.

Required Experience:

• Strong Communication Skills (Explaining Technical or Complex Information to Non-Technical Audiences): 11 years (Required)

• Experience Leading Clinical Practices for Students Pursuing a Degree in Education: 5 years (Required)

• Experience Working in a University Setting within a School or College of Education: 11 years (Required)

• Leadership Experience as Dean, Interim Dean, or Associate Dean within a University Education Program: 5 years (Required)

• Developing Published Resources for Educator Preparation Providers and Teacher Pipelines: 5 years (Required)

• Experience Creating and/or Implementing Registered Teacher Apprenticeship Programs: 2 years (Required)

• Microsoft Office Suite and Project Management Software (MS Project or Equivalent): 11 years (Required)

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Professional Experience: Required
