About the role
BURN is recruiting a Training Officer who will be responsible for designing and implementing training programs to enhance the sales skills and performance of the sales and field operation teams.
The individual will ensure that the sales and field operations teams are well-equipped to meet the needs of the organisation and to achieve its sales objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
Design and deliver onboarding and refresher training for commercial and field teams
Develop training materials, including presentations, job aids, and assessments
Train teams on product features, sales processes, customer engagement, and compliance requirements
Work closely with Product, Commercial, and Operations teams to translate updates into training content
Conduct field visits to observe performance, identify skill gaps, and provide coaching
Track training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance indicators
Maintain training records and report on training coverage and outcomes
Support rollout of new products, features, or process changes through structured training.
Skills and Experience
At least 2 years’ experience in training, facilitation, or sales enablement roles
Strong presentation and facilitation skills
Ability to translate complex product or process information into simple, practical training
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Willingness to travel for field-based training.
Experience in field-based commercial operations roles
Experience in the renewable energy or cookstove sector.
Familiarity with adult learning principles and training methodologies
Data-driven mindset with ability to assess training impact
Proficient in LMS tools
