Lead all plant operations including production, staffing, safety, and quality assurance
Manage throughput across seasonal spikes and steady cycles while maintaining operational consistency
Track and act on KPIs around output, downtime, material usage, and safety
Champion a culture of urgency, accountability, and continuous improvement
Set clear expectations, provide feedback, and support career growth
Promote a disciplined, safety-first, team-oriented culture on the floor
Collaborate with leadership, supply chain, and procurement to align production with customer demand
Identify and proactively resolve bottlenecks before they impact output
Maintain full compliance with OSHA, SQF, USDA, and internal quality standards
Conduct regular audits, training, and process reviews
Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed and equipment remains production-ready
Use ERP (Acumatica preferred) and WMS systems to track production, safety, and quality metrics
Leverage data insights to make informed operational decisions
Support automation, system rollouts, and other tech-driven process enhancementsQualifications:
7+ years of manufacturing or plant operations experience; at least 3 years in a leadership role
Background in contract packaging, kitting, or secondary packaging is required
Demonstrated success managing teams of 15+ employees in a high-volume setting
Expertise in quality control, safety, regulatory compliance, and workflow optimization
Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems, Excel, and data tools (Power BI is a plus)
Grit, urgency, and a "lead by example" mindsetPreferred Certifications:
