Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee daily field operations on commercial and multifamily construction projects. This role is responsible for coordinating subcontractors, managing project schedules, ensuring jobsite safety, and maintaining quality standards throughout the construction process.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on field leader with strong experience managing subcontractors and driving projects forward while maintaining strict safety and schedule requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily construction jobsite operations and subcontractor activities

• Coordinate project schedules and ensure milestone deadlines are achieved

• Communicate regularly with project managers, engineers, and field teams

• Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and jobsite safety procedures

• Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation

• Monitor work quality and ensure installations meet project specifications

• Conduct daily jobsite meetings and coordinate subcontractor workflow

• Track manpower, jobsite productivity, and progress reports

• Identify and resolve field issues to avoid project delays

• Maintain jobsite organization and ensure work areas remain safe and efficient

Requirements

Required Experience

• Experience working as a Construction Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent

• Background in commercial construction, multifamily construction, or large building projects

• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and jobsite management

• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and technical drawings

• Understanding of construction safety regulations and OSHA compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing ground-up commercial or multifamily construction projects

• OSHA 30 certification preferred

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors simultaneously
