Senior Construction Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale commercial and multifamily construction projects. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day jobsite operations, coordinating subcontractors, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

This position is ideal for a seasoned construction leader who has successfully managed complex construction projects and large field teams while maintaining strict schedule control and jobsite safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day construction activities on the jobsite

• Manage subcontractors, field crews, and construction schedules

• Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, and project stakeholders

• Maintain and enforce OSHA safety standards and jobsite safety procedures

• Monitor project progress and ensure schedule milestones are met

• Conduct jobsite meetings with subcontractors and project teams

• Review construction drawings, specifications, and project plans

• Identify potential project delays and implement corrective solutions

• Maintain jobsite quality control and ensure work meets project specifications

• Track daily reports, manpower logs, and construction documentation

Requirements

Required Experience

• Extensive experience as a Construction Superintendent or Senior Superintendent

• Strong background in commercial construction or multifamily construction projects

• Proven experience managing large subcontractor teams and complex construction schedules

• Ability to interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical specifications

• Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and OSHA regulations

• Experience managing ground-up construction projects

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial construction field experience

• Experience overseeing large commercial developments or multifamily projects

• OSHA 30 certification

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
