Job Title: Sterile Processing Tech

Must-Have:

- High-Level Disinfection (HLD) experience

- Automated Endoscope Reprocessors (AER) experience

- Experience with scopes and surgical instrumentation

Description:

We are seeking candidates who are experienced in all areas of sterile processing.

Responsibilities include decontaminating all items such as drills, scopes, and surgical instruments.

Assembly of instruments in all service lines is required.

Experience with sterilization processes such as Sterrad and steam is necessary.

High-level disinfection experience is important, as well as experience with sterile storage and OR liaison duties.

Candidates should have experience using the Censitrac tracking system.

Prior experience working in a busy trauma facility is preferred.

Candidates must be flexible and may be required to float to other facilities.

The role includes ensuring equipment, instruments, and supplies are safely reused and delivered aseptically.

An important aspect of the position is serving as a clinical liaison between Operating Rooms and the sterile processing location.

Candidates must procure and standardize instrument trays across the enterprise.

The position will require working 24/7 in multiple reprocessing sites across the healthcare system.

Travelers must understand the urgency of the credentialing process and complete all required steps promptly.

Professional references will be required.

Only candidates who have been away from the facility for six months or more will be considered for travel assignments.

Current employees of the facility are not eligible for travel positions.
