Machine Operator I Compensation
Pay rate: $22.70/hour
Base Pay: $20.00/hour
Shift Differential: $2.70/hour
Machine Operator I Highlights
Location: Columbus, NE
Assignment Length: Contract opportunity
Schedule: Alternating days schedule
Shift Hours: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (B Shift)
Work Setting: Onsite manufacturing facility
Overtime: Must be flexible to work weekend overtime when required
Machine Operator I Responsibilities
Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently to produce quality products
Perform visual inspections and quality checks on products
Conduct basic troubleshooting of production equipment
Complete equipment changeovers, line clearances, and cleaning procedures
Achieve production rate and quality goals on assigned equipment
Perform rework when necessary to ensure product quality
Complete SAP and MES data entries for production tracking
Maintain compliance with GMP standards and quality procedures
Assist with raw material and finished goods movement within the department
Use measuring tools such as microscopes, calipers, and gauges when required
Support continuous production operations and minimize downtime
Cross-train in multiple tasks within the department as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Work collaboratively in a team environment to meet production goals
Machine Operator I Requirements
Ability to read, write, and understand specifications written in English
Ability to perform basic math calculations
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures
Ability to work flexible or extended hours when required
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
Previous manufacturing or production environment experience
Experience using MES systems
Experience with precision measuring instruments
Education
High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required
