Job Title: Multi-Axis CNC MachinistJob Description
We are seeking an experienced Multi-Axis CNC Machinist to join a fast-paced job shop environment in Decatur, AL. This role is ideal for a hands-on machinist who can independently set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC equipment while producing high-quality precision parts. Aerospace experience is a strong plus.Responsibilities
Set up and operate multi-axis CNC machines (3-, 4-, and/or 5-axis).
Perform tool changes, offsets, and work offsets.
Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions.
Make minor program edits at the machine (G-code).
Perform first-article inspections and in-process quality checks.
Troubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, programs, and setups.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Meet production schedules while maintaining quality and safety standards.Essential Skills
3–5 years of CNC machining experience in a job shop environment.
Experience with multi-axis CNC machines.
Ability to independently perform machine setup, tool changes, and offsets.
Proficiency in fixture setup and basic CNC programming or program editing.
Strong blueprint reading skills, including GD&T.
Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
Must be able to provide own machining tools.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in the aerospace industry is a plus.
Knowledge of G&M codes, Grobe, Mazak lathe, Mazak mill, M3 Spindle, climb milling, and conventional milling.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $43.00/hr.
