Job Summary:
The Server provides excellent food and beverage service during on-site audit engagements, ensuring that meals are delivered in a timely, professional, and courteous manner. This role is key in maintaining a positive and comfortable dining experience for the audit team and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
Take and process food and drink orders accurately
Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner
Ensure that tables are clean, organized, and properly set for service
Monitor guests' needs throughout the meal and respond to requests promptly
Collaborate with kitchen and prep staff to ensure accurate orders and timely delivery
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines during food handling and service
Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and dietary restrictions to assist guests
Handle payment transactions, including cash and card processing, and return change or receipts
Assist with clearing tables and resetting dining areas between services
Qualifications:
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices
Professional appearance and demeanor with a focus on hospitality
Ability to work collaboratively with a team and take direction from supervisors
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays or food items (with or without accommodations)
Flexibility to work varying shifts and hours depending on the audit schedule
Ability to adapt quickly to changes in service or dining setup
