Are you a master of precision, with a passion for creating high-quality products? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Lathe Operator to join our client's dynamic manufacturing team. This is a permanent, full-time position where you'll be working with state-of-the-art machinery in a fast-paced, challenging environment. You'll be part of a team that takes pride in producing some of the highest quality products in the industry.

Responsibilities:

As a CNC Lathe Operator, you will be responsible for the following:

1. Operating and maintaining CNC machines, specifically lathes, to perform a series of machining operations such as turning, boring, threading, facing, grinding, drilling and tapering.

2. Interpreting complex blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate production of components.

3. Utilizing precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators to inspect and ensure parts meet tight tolerance specifications.

4. Adjusting machine offsets and tool offsets to ensure optimal performance and quality of the products.

5. Collaborating with the production team to troubleshoot any issues with the machines and develop solutions.

6. Complying with all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

7. Continually improving processes and techniques to increase production efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Operator, specifically operating a lathe.

2. Expertise in precision machining with a solid understanding of tight tolerances.

3. Proficiency in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.

4. Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and schematics.

5. Demonstrated experience with machine and tool offsets.

6. Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to troubleshoot issues and find effective solutions.

7. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

8. Strong communication and teamwork skills.

9. A commitment to adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
