Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday – Friday 1st shift – Saturdays as needed
United Ag & Turf NE is looking for a CDL Driver responsible for operating vehicles to transport agriculture, commercial, and construction equipment for the dealership and instructing customers on basic equipment operating procedures.
What You’ll Do
Transport equipment to/from customers and/or between dealer facilities; may also pick-up new equipment from a John Deere factory
Support the sales department with equipment delivery as needed
Maintain records of pickup and deliveries and obtain necessary signatures and receipts
Maintain all required certifications in line with DOT, OSHA and company policy
Account for all time and for all distance traveled in performing assigned duties
May need to maintain assigned trucks and related equipment in good condition
May instruct customers on basic equipment operating procedures as requiredRequirements:
What it Takes
1+ years of experience as semi-trailer truck operator
Expert knowledge of binding, strapping, chaining machinery and equipment
Familiar with the use of a computer
Ability to operate a forklift
Clean driving record required
Registration for FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
Required
CDL
Education
High school diploma or GED
