Program Manager- Grid Automation Job Description The Program Manager is responsible for the successful management and delivery of operations supporting one large or multiple smaller accounts.

This role involves working closely with internal support functions to deliver an excellent customer experience while providing leadership and direction to project teams.

The Program Manager ensures that all projects meet their cost, quality, and timing requirements.

This position also requires maintaining and growing relationships with key customer stakeholders and consultants to continually enhance program performance in support of customer business goals.

Responsibilities + Manage resources in the program, including interviewing and hiring, performance management, providing direction, and resolving issues.

+ Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, regulatory requirements, company work rules, procedures, and safety requirements.

+ Develop and manage program plans, budgets, schedules, and documentation, including change management, risk mitigation, and reporting.

+ Distribute workflow from customers to internal supervisors for allocation to their teams, ensuring all projects filter through the manager.

+ Maintain a high level of relationships with all customer stakeholders.

+ Utilize program management skills such as communication, presentation, time management, organization, and planning to successfully achieve program goals, objectives, and SLAs.

+ Identify resource requirements by working closely with customer stakeholders.

+ Conduct periodic status meetings with customers and the team to assess progress against the plan.

+ Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly status reports to management and appropriate client recipients.

+ Resolve all program issues with customers and suppliers as appropriate, while working with internal teams.

+ Collaborate with Business Development, Technical Manager, Practice Managers, and Delivery Managers to pursue opportunities and win new bids.

+ Execute supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Essential Skills + Project management + Engineering + OSP + Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Engineering, Manufacturing, Software) if technical deliverables are involved + 7-10 years of industry experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience + 5-7 years of operations management experience with proven success in driving improvement in large operations on a national level + 5-7 years of people management experience of large teams, including training, development, mentorship, and day-to-day responsibility of technical/engineering teams, both on-site and remotely Additional Skills & Qualifications + Applicable certifications such as PE, PMP, CCNA, CCNP, BISCI Work Environment The work environment includes managing resources across various accounts, both large and small.

The Program Manager will work with technical and engineering teams both on-site and remotely, requiring a dynamic approach to team management and project oversight.

The role necessitates a high degree of collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure program success.

REFCR2023 Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Columbus, OH.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
