POSITION SUMMARY:
CNC Operator - All an entry level position through an advanced level. The CNC Operator will continue to develop technical skills in their assigned areas, further their growth as team contributors, and begin using their experience and technical abilities to demonstrate leadership characteristics The position requires hands-on experience and growing proficiency of EXALTA's most complicated processes. This position is critical in helping EXALTA maximize the number of patients served while maintaining a high level of quality and safety.
Shift Options, We offer schedules designed to support employees:
1st Shift: Mon-Thurs 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
2nd Shift (Priority Hiring): Mon-Thurs 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM
Weekend Shift (Priority Hiring): Fri-Sun 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
What you'll do:
As a CNC Operator, you'll help manufacture precision components used in advanced medical technology.
Your work may include:
Operating CNC Milling, Turning, & Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM)
Producing parts following engineering specifications
Setting up fixtures, tools, and materials
Inspecting finished parts for accuracy and quality
Performing routine machine maintenance
Maintaining a clean and safe manufacturing environment
Collaborating with teammates to improve processes and quality

CNC Operator 1 - Entry Level

Operates a limited number of machines
Performs basic inspections
Learn machining processes and quality standards
Requirements for a Level 1:
High school diploma or equivalent
Enrollment in or completion of the NMU CNC Certification program or 1 year of equivalent work experience preferred
CNC Operator 2: Intermediate
Build your technical skills and expand machine expertise.
Operates multiple machine types
Performs basic set-ups
Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
Verify machining efficiency and part quality
Assist in training and team support
Requirements for a Level 2:
High school diploma or equivalent
Enrollment in or completion of the NMU CNC Certification program or 2-5 years of equivalent work experience preferred
CNC Operator 3: Advanced
Set the example and help lead others on the manufacturing floor.
Perform increasingly complex setups
Operates multiple machines across departments
Assist in training and mentoring teammates
Requirements for a Level 3:
High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years of CNC Machining or equivalent experience preferred
