Starting Pay: $19.75 - $21.50 per hour depending on experience
Hours: Shift 16: Monday - Thursday, 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM
We are hiring a Spot Welder / Assembler to attach hardware and components to metal stamped parts using spot-welding and assembly machines. This role ensures precise alignment, high-quality welds, and accurate production records in ERP system, while following all safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Operate spot-welding and assembly machines to attach hardware to parts according to production specifications
Set up and configure spot-welding and assembly jobs with guidance as needed
Monitor equipment performance, report malfunctions, and replace worn electrodes or tips
Inspect parts for quality and ensure alignment and adherence to specifications
Record production and welding activity in ERP System.
Requirements
Experience in a manufacturing or assembly role preferred, but not required
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in welding and assembly
Ability to learn and perform equipment setups, identify and clear faults, and use inspection gauges
Basic computer skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
Occasional lifting up to 65lbs
Bend, reach, and handle parts throughout the shift
Frequent handling of parts and machine components
Required PPE: eye protection, hearing protection, MET guard safety shoes
