This opportunity is for two paraprofessional positions supporting early childhood and elementary students within a school setting in Springfield, Vermont. Both roles are full-time contracts lasting through June 12, 2026, providing consistent hours and meaningful engagement in student learning and development.
Location:
Springfield, Vermont (onsite work)
Responsibilities:
Provide direct support to students in grades PreK-1st at Elm Hill and grades 2nd-4th at Union Street schools
Assist teachers with classroom activities, behavioral support, and individual student needs
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Collaborate with educational staff to implement instructional plans and accommodate diverse learners
Support social-emotional development and promote student engagement throughout the school day
Qualifications:
Vermont Paraprofessional certification required
Experience working in educational settings with young students preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Commitment to student growth and academic achievement
Schedule:
35 hours per week
