Description:

Provide skilled nursing care in a Medical-Telemetry unit supporting patient recovery and monitoring vital cardiac and medical status. This contract position is based in Phillips, WI, offering an opportunity to utilize comprehensive RN-Telemetry clinical expertise in a well-equipped inpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver focused nursing care to medical-surgical patients with telemetry monitoring.

Titrate intravenous drips accurately, including diltiazem, as prescribed.

Interpret telemetry strips independently while collaborating with clinical staff.

Work under flexible shift schedules: 06:45-19:15 and 18:45-07:15, including every third weekend and holiday rotations.

Participate in multidisciplinary care, coordinate with charge nurses, and assist as needed during fluctuating acuity.

Adhere to facility clock-in/out policies and orientation requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

Registered Nurse licensure with telemetry experience.

Certification in ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, and TNCC required.

Ability to confidently manage cardiac monitoring and titrate medications.

Experience with GE telemonitoring systems advantageous.

Flexibility to float to Emergency Room or Medical-Surgical units as needed.

Prior employment with this healthcare system requires a minimum six-month gap before re-application.
