Hours of work: Full-time position with hours Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-3:30 PM The Maintenance Technician is responsible for inspecting and maintaining various plant systems and equipment (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, etc.) The Maintenance Technician performs routine plant inspection and document results, as well as troubleshoots systems/equipment and makes necessary repairs.
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to) * Planned inspections (frequency varies depending upon equipment) * Direct production work * Develop new vendors, establish scope of work and obtain vendor pricing * Perform Daily/Monthly safety inspections * Conduct efficient repair response to minimize equipment downtime Qualifications * A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is required * One year certification from a college or technical school is preferred * A Driver's License is required * 2-3 years of Industrial or Commercial experience is required * Industrial Electric experience is preferred * Experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook is preferred About Calgon Carbon At Calgon Carbon, we are scientific innovators with a proud legacy of over 80 years and more than 205 patents to our name.
