Position Overview:
This role requires a senior-level Broadcom GEN enterprise data modeler and applications developer to support and enhance actuarial, rating, and payment-related components within a complex enterprise system. The position works closely with developers, analysts, DBAs, and modernization teams to design, develop, and maintain GEN-based solutions while ensuring system stability in a mission-critical environment.
Required Skills:
10+ years of experience in Broadcom GEN development and enterprise application support, including design, development, and maintenance of GEN-based systems.
10+ years of experience in database design and enterprise data modeling, including development and maintenance of highly structured data models.
10+ years of experience working across mainframe and distributed platform environments supporting enterprise applications.
10+ years of experience utilizing SAS and enterprise reporting tools to support data analysis and reporting functions.
10+ years of experience developing and maintaining scripting and automation solutions to support system operations and processing.
10+ years of experience supporting batch scheduling, batch operations, and production processing environments.
10+ years of experience operating at a TS4-level capacity, demonstrating strong analytical, technical leadership, and independent problem-solving capabilities within complex systems.Preferred Skills:
10+ years of experience in technical writing and business requirements analysis for implementation in GEN, Reports Composer, SOA Composer, and Crystal Reports.
10+ years of experience performing requirements analysis and validation of IT solutions against business rules and actuarial or payment processing logic.
10+ years of experience defining business requirements and architecting GEN-based solutions supporting rating, reserving, payroll/premium, and employer program functions.
10+ years of experience collaborating with data analysts and business analysts to develop and refine highly normalized enterprise data models.
10+ years of experience applying quality assurance principles and best practices within GEN-based application environments.
10+ years of experience solving complex technical problems involving multi-system dependencies and cross-platform data flows.
10+ years of experience working in a large enterprise IT environment (100+ IT staff) utilizing structured SDLC processes.
10+ years of experience supporting modernization initiatives involving Oracle databases, Windows batch processing, and distributed processing environments.Duties:
Perform business process analysis to translate functional requirements into technical GEN application designs.
Design and develop Broadcom GEN enterprise data models and GEN action diagrams for both batch and online components.
Develop, test, and maintain GEN server procedures supporting enterprise applications.
Implement and enhance GEN-based solutions across actuarial, rating, and payment-related system modules.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and DBAs to ensure data model integrity and application functionality.
Support and maintain reporting tools including Reports Composer, SOA Composer, and Crystal Reports.
Diagnose and resolve complex application and data issues within GEN-based systems.
Participate in modernization initiatives involving Windows platforms, Oracle databases, and distributed batch processing.
Provide production support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for critical enterprise applications.
Contribute to system stability, performance improvements, and ongoing enhancements in a mission-critical environment.
