Physiatry/Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician

DirectShifts is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physiatrist to join our team in helping patients recover from injuries and disabilities and improve their quality of life in the vibrant city of Ohio.

Job Description: * Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of physical impairments and disabilities, including those resulting from stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, amputation, and musculoskeletal disorders.

* Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans, incorporating physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and other modalities.

* Manage pain associated with injuries and chronic conditions, utilizing a multidisciplinary approach.

* Prescribe and manage assistive devices and adaptive equipment.

* Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques and self-care strategies.

* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

* Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.

* Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in physical medicine and rehabilitation through ongoing professional development.
