Job Description

Must Haves:

High School Diploma or GED

Experience with maintenance work

Valid driver's license

High Mechanical Aptitude and some Electrical knowledge

Able to lift up to 75 pounds

Team player but also able to work independently

Self-motivated

Customer service skills

Time management skills

Plusses:

Dock and Door experience

Welding and Electrical maintenance experience

Job Description:

Insight Global is looking for Service Technicians who can help customers operate more efficiently and safely by applying, installing and servicing products and solutions in four major categories: Truck & Rail Loading Docks, Storage, Safety, and Energy conservation. The service Technicians will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining including but not limited to: Dock Levelers, Vehicle Restraints, Scissor Lifts, High Speed Doors, Rolling Doors, Fans and Air Curtains.

Key Responsibilities:

Project a positive image

Evaluate faulty equipment and ensure proper operation

Maintain a record of all service work and repairs performed within the electronic service record

Maximize labor revenue and efficiency by working with the operations manager

Drive safely from customer to customer

Effectively communicate with parts and sales department to make sure customer needs are met on time

Perform work in a variety of environments and other duties as assigned by operations
