Facilities Manager

A well-respected and capitalized firm in the BWI area is seeking an experienced Construction & Facilities Manager to oversee capital projects and facility operations across a portfolio of multiple sites totaling approximately 1M sq.

ft.

This role leads major construction, renovation, and improvement projects while managing building systems, contractors, and internal staff.

Key ResponsibilitiesManage construction and renovation projects up to $50MOversee capital improvements and facility upgradesSupervise construction staff, vendors, and contractorsManage project budgets, schedules, and permittingCoordinate architects, engineers, and design consultantsEnsure compliance with building codes and safety standardsOversee building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, roofing, fire protection, and elevatorsDevelop long-term capital planning and preventative maintenance strategiesPresent project updates and reports to leadership and community stakeholders EducationBachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field preferredEquivalent experience will be considered
