Production Operator

Job Title: Production Operator Location: Bellefontaine, OH Full Time Key ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, and maintain production equipment while ensuring efficiency and product quality.Monitor and maintain quality standards for assigned equipment and operations.Complete daily production records related to assigned work areas or specific operations.Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Total Quality Management (TQM) policies.Adhere to all environmental, health, and safety regulations for the facility.Participate in required training programs.Maintain proper housekeeping and workplace safety standards.Comply with company policies and industry standards, including TS 16949 and ISO 14001 where applicable.Apply continuous improvement and cost-reduction practices while performing job duties.Maintain acceptable attendance and reliability.

Education & ExperienceMinimum 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.

Required Skills & AbilitiesAbility to stand for extended periods, bend, and stoop during work.Ability to use both hands to push, pull, grasp, and pinch objects.Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.Basic computer skills.Ability to use and record measurements using precision measuring tools.Strong dependability and ability to follow instructions.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Flexible and adaptable to changing work demands.Ability to read and understand instructions in English.Good written and verbal communication skills.

Working ConditionsWork is performed in a manufacturing plant environment.Employees must follow all company and government safety regulations.Required use of hearing protection and eye protection on the production floor.Composite or steel-toed safety shoes are required while working on the manufacturing floor.Exposure to extreme conditions is limited but may occur in a production environment.
