MATERIAL HANDLER DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

Location: Four Oaks NC 27524 – 100% on-site

Payrate: $17.50/hr

Required Availability: Full-Time Monday – Friday, 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM (2nd Shift)

MATERIAL HANDLER SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The Material Handler will be responsible for moving materials, parts, and finished goods throughout the facility using a variety of equipment. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for an individual looking to build a career in logistics and manufacturing operations.

This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance

A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

MATERIAL HANDLER RESPONSIBILITIES:

Material Handling: Operate equipment such as forklifts, conveyors, handcarts, and power trucks to transport products and assemblies.

Operational Excellence: Follow clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and adhere to strict quality guidelines.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of material movement and inventory as required.

Process Improvement: Apply basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks and develop proficiency in warehouse methods.

MATERIAL HANDLER REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)

Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.

1+ year of warehouse or related experience

Basic math calculations and computer skills.

Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions in English.

Effective communication skills for coordinating with Team Leads and co-workers.

Certifications: Willingness to obtain and maintain necessary equipment licenses/certifications as provided.

Physical Requirements & Environment

Ability to lift and move objects weighing over 50 lbs.

Regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive motions with hands and wrists.

Must be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse (hot in summer, cold in winter) with exposure to moving mechanical parts and moderate to loud noise levels.
