Machine Operator - Overnight

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Safely and effectively operate machinery to meet production goals while ensuring efficiency.

Willingness to train for and fill in other positions within the department and facility.

Maintain an accurate count of the products produced.

Adhere to the principles of 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.

Perform regular housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and debris-free work area, including sweeping, mopping, and waste removal.

Maintain an appropriate speed to achieve production goals.

Monitor and minimize scrap levels as defined by production standards.

Identify quality issues with raw materials.

Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Demonstrate core values, including integrity, accountability, value creation, customer focus, teamwork, continuous improvement, humility and respect, and drive.

Provide and maintain a safe work environment through proper training and communication.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in manufacturing is preferred.

Proficiency in basic math.

Ability to use tape measure, caliper, banding equipment, hand tools, and utility knives.

Physically able to stand, bend, and reach for 12-hour shifts; lift up to 50 pounds.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and temperature changes.

Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.

Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Self-motivated and adaptable to changing work requirements.

Must be able to work one of the following fixed shifts on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule:
