About the Role:

The Operator I - Level 1 plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of production or manufacturing processes within the organization. This entry-level position involves monitoring equipment, performing routine tasks, and adhering to safety and quality standards to maintain consistent output. The Operator I is responsible for identifying and reporting any operational issues or deviations to supervisors promptly to minimize downtime. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures accurately to support overall production goals. Ultimately, the Operator I contributes to the foundational operations that enable the company to meet its production targets and maintain high standards of product quality.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Basic understanding of mechanical or industrial equipment operation.

Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures.

Strong attention to safety and quality standards.

Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.

Ability to work 7pm-7am

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

Familiarity with basic troubleshooting techniques for machinery.

Certification in workplace safety or equipment operation.

Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.

Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, or overtime as required.

Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures.

Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is functioning properly.

Record operational data and report any abnormalities or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.

Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Assist in the setup and changeover of equipment as needed to support production schedules.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.

Participate in training sessions to improve operational knowledge and skills.

Skills:

The required skills such as attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential for daily operations to ensure equipment runs smoothly and safely. Effective communication skills enable the Operator I to report issues clearly and collaborate with team members and supervisors. Basic mechanical aptitude helps in understanding equipment functions and performing routine maintenance tasks. Preferred skills like troubleshooting and computer literacy enhance the operator’s ability to quickly identify problems and document operational data accurately.
