Remote IT Support Technician (Microsoft 365 / Azure)
Location: Remote (Candidate must reside in the Midwest, USA)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Remote IT Support Technician to support end users in a Microsoft-centric environment. The ideal candidate is fluent in Microsoft 365, comfortable with Azure fundamentals, and experienced in providing remote user support in a professional business setting.
This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, clear communication, and the ability to work independently while supporting users across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide remote technical support for end users (Windows, Microsoft 365)
Administer and support Microsoft 365:
Exchange Online
Outlook
Teams
OneDrive / SharePoint
User management via Entra ID (Azure AD):
User provisioning
Group management
License assignment
Troubleshoot:
Login and MFA issues
Email and Teams issues
Device and profile-related problems
Escalate complex issues appropriately and document resolutions
Work independently while maintaining clear communication with users and management
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of IT support experience
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365
Working knowledge of Azure / Entra ID
Proven experience supporting users remotely
Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
Reliable internet connection and professional remote work setup
Must currently live in the Midwest (US)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with:
Intune / device management
Conditional Access
Security & compliance basics
Experience supporting professional services environments (law, finance, consulting)
Microsoft certifications (nice to have, not required)
