Computer Operator I - Overnight Shift

Location: Baltimore, MD

Compensation: $20.00 per hour

Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; Wednesday through Friday with alternating Saturdays

Abel Personnel is seeking a motivated, tech-savvy individual to join our client's team in Baltimore as a Computer Operator I. This role is vital for maintaining the health of the company’s enterprise infrastructure during the overnight shift. Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Monitoring: Monitor the company's enterprise infrastructure and escalate issues to the appropriate departments or senior staff as required.

Daily Operations: Assist in the daily operation of computer systems and complete all tasks on the daily checklist under supervision.

Documentation: Track and document all issues using a dedicated tracking system to ensure accurate records of system performance.

System Recovery: Assist in recovery activities necessary to restore normal operations and provide support to senior computer operators as needed.

Communication: Report all technical problems to the Senior Computer Operator or Supervisor immediately.

Support: Take appropriate follow-up action on customer queries under supervision.

Requirements

Technical Aptitude: Must be tech-savvy and enjoy working with computers.

Customer Service: Strong customer service skills are required to handle queries and internal communication.

Background Check: Must be able to pass a standard criminal history background check.

Licensing: Must be able to pass an FBI-like background check to obtain a required Gaming License.
