Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Safety Supervisor to ensure everyone in the company complies with health and safety. The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying potential hazards, conducting training sessions, and fostering a culture of safety among all employees.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute health and safety plans and workplace examinations

Prepare and implement policies to establish a culture of health and safety

Evaluate practices, procedures, and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law

Conduct site training, tracking, and reporting for each individual and subcontractor

Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and handle worker’s compensation claims

Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities, or new prevention measures

Requirements

Proven experience as a safety supervisor or similar role

In depth knowledge of OSHA and MSHA procedures

Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics

Proficient in MS Office

Outstanding organizational and communication skills

Working knowledge of safety management information systems

Bachelor’s degree in safety management or relevant field

Professional certification is a plus
