Freedom Behavioral is providing services to Adult Male Psychiatric Patients and is seeking compassionate PRN Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our growing team! As a valued member of our team, you will help deliver essential care in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Position Details:

Shift Availability:Day Shift (7 AM - 7 PM) & Night Shift (7 PM - 7 AM)

Status:PRN

Position Summary:

As a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day care of patients, adhering to professional nursing standards while ensuring compliance with TJC, CMS, and state regulations. Key responsibilities include:

Administering direct patient care within the scope of your LPN license

Assisting with patient assessments and documenting findings accurately and in a timely manner

Monitoring patient condition and promptly reporting any changes to the RN or medical staff

Assisting with the completion of admission paperwork and ensuring documentation meets facility standards

Adhering to infection control policies and procedures

Participating in performance improvement initiatives and chart reviews

Collaborating with the healthcare team to implement patient care plans and interventions

Preferred Qualifications:

Education:Graduate of an accredited Practical Nurse program

License:LPN License through the Louisiana State Board of Nursing

Experience:At least one year of experience in mental health or psychiatric care preferred
