Main duties of the Logistics Specialist include:

Execute all shipping and receiving functions such as vendor invoicing, shipping schedules, routes, budgets and timelines

Source out and quote new freight carriers

Handle all importing and exporting documentation and ensuring adherence to codes/standards

Ensuring all inventory levels are maintained at all times, utilizing ERP systems

Completing cycle counts for stocked inventory

Support Purchasing and Sales/Production on all work orders

Qualifications include:

At least an AS Degree

Experience with Shipping/Receiving internationally (importing and exporting knowledge)

Strong inventory control and ERP/SAP experience

Excellent personality and communication skills, ability to work well in a close-knit team environment
