Electronics Technician

Job Responsibilities

As an Frac Electronic Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the electronic systems that support our operations. Your responsibilities will include:

Installing, maintaining, and repairing electronic equipment and systems.

Reading and interpreting schematic diagrams and technical manuals.

Troubleshooting hardware and software issues to ensure optimal performance.

Updating system software and implementing necessary upgrades.

Collaborating with engineering and operations teams to improve system efficiency.

Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electronic systems.

Documenting all maintenance and repair activities in compliance with company standards.

Participating in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Required Qualifications

Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as an electronic technician or a similar role.

Strong understanding of electronic principles and circuit design.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents and schematics.

Familiarity with electronic testing equipment and tools.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to work a 14 days on, 7 days off schedule, including overnight travel.

Preferred Skills

Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial automation systems.

Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in the oil and gas industry.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical personnel.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
