Pharmacy Manager - Grand Rapids, MN

An interim Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) position is available at a retail pharmacy associated with a regional hospital, focusing on providing critical outpatient medication services. Location:

Grand Rapids, MN area (serving a hospital outpatient pharmacy)

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, day shifts only

No nights or weekends

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge, overseeing day-to-day pharmacy operations

Verify, fill, and check prescriptions accurately and efficiently

Provide supervision and leadership for pharmacy technicians

Collaborate and consult with healthcare providers regarding medication therapies

Counsel patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications, ensuring safe and effective use

Desired Qualifications:

Current pharmacist license with Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) credentials preferred

Proven experience in retail pharmacy settings, ideally with hospital outpatient exposure

Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations and medication management

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Ability to manage workflow and oversee staff in a lower-volume pharmacy environment

This is a contract role lasting approximately 13 weeks, designed for pharmacists seeking an interim leadership opportunity with a stable daytime schedule.
