Part-Time School Nurse (1:1 Student Support) – Sweet Home CSD Amherst, NY

Schedule

Part-Time (School Year + Summer Session)

Tuesdays & Wednesdays only

7:45 AM – 1:15 PM

Responsibilities

Provide attentive 1:1 nursing care during the school day

Ensure the GJ tube remains secure during activities

Support communication and engagement with staff and activities

Maintain a safe, comfortable environment for the student

(Medical orders have been requested and will be provided upon assignment. The student currently does not require medications.)

Requirements

Active LPN license in the state of New York.

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Current BLS certification, with further certifications preferred.
