Join our team as a Senior Analytical Chemist on Third Shift and work as a full-time employee of Parexel FSP on a long-term assignment at our client's site in Rahway, NJ. Position Overview

As a Senior Analytical Chemist, you will operate and maintain a range of analytical instruments, conducting both routine and real-time testing to support our pilot plant operations. Your responsibilities will include using HPLC, GC, UV-VIS, IR, titrations, KF testing, and various wet chemistry techniques to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality, compliant results while engaging with a diverse clientele daily.

Qualifications

B.S. in Chemistry or related discipline with 3-5 years of relevant experience; or M.S. with 1-2 years of experience

Required Skills and Experience

Experience in cGMP regulated laboratories with a strong focus on data integrity, ALCOA principles, and compliance

Proven experience with HPLC and GC is crucial, along with a desire to grow in method development, optimization, validation, data analysis, and sample preparation techniques

Familiarity with KF, UV-VIS, IR, and other standard analytical chemistry instruments and methods

Experience with Tecan automated liquid handling systems for high throughput testing

Proficiency in software platforms for data processing and management such as Empower, RLIMS, Lab X, etc.

Conducting second scientist review of GMP data

Desired Skills and Experience

Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and oral/written communication skills

Able to work under pressure and deliver reliable results with quick turnaround
