The Recreation Supervisor is a working administrative position responsible for planning, developing, coordinating, and supervising a wide range of youth, adult, and senior recreation programs, athletic leagues, and community special events. This position is dedicated to providing high-quality recreational opportunities for residents and program participants.
The Recreation Supervisor supervises childcare staff, youth sports officials, volunteer coaches, contracted instructors, community volunteers, and seasonal staff. The position works closely with the Recreation Specialist and the Director of Parks & Recreation to support departmental operations, including programming, staffing, scheduling, marketing, customer service, and administrative functions.
This position performs both office and field duties and may require work during evenings, weekends, and holidays. The position is non-union and classified as FLSA non-exempt.
