RELIEF BUS DRIVERS

Bluff, Montezuma Creek, and Monument Valley areas.

Qualifications

Relief bus drivers - must possess a valid Commercial Drivers License with Class B, P, and S endorsements. Must be physically capable to drive a school bus and evacuate students in an emergency.

San Juan School District will provide training to acquire a CDL.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities (include, but not limited to)

Relief bus driver - Transports students to various activities; monitors loading and unloading activities; assures safe and complete de-busing of children; monitors surroundings and environs to detect hazards and prevent hardship; monitors activity and behaviors to assure safety; may administer routine discipline as needed to maintain order and safety.

Salary

Substitute Salary Schedule

Relief Driver: $23.35/hr.

Hours

Relief bus drivers are on-call, as needed employees. Available to fill in for route drivers.
